You’ve made me healthily suspicious of everyone around me
everyone I interact with
and meet
Be it in my own home
in others’ homes
or on the street
Where they stand on this issue
is and will always be
the litmus test
Anyone who does not stand with all oppressed
and specifically with you
had better do their damnedest
to steer clear of me
while I do my best
to quell and channel my rage
into something far beyond myself
in a depraved world claiming to seek peace
a claim which is nothing but an empty gesture
of the unending power quests
of those who see themselves as being above and beyond the rest
