How can you help the people that this site and its fund-raising activities support?
Everyone’s campaigns listed on this page can be donated to directly via their respective Chuffed or Go Fund Me pages. Two of the seven families as well as the group of orphans this site and its related fundraising activities support directly do not yet have online funding campaigns on Chuffed, Go Fund Me, etc. Funds raised are sent to them directly via online payment methods.
Credit card, debit card and a number of other options are available for donating via the individual Chuffed and Go Fund Me campaigns listed below. Simply click on a campaign for more details.
You can also donate directly to this site’s Buy Me a Coffee account (see link on main page). All funds this site and its related activities generate will be split between the 7 families, the group of orphans and the school community this site currently supports. If you would like to donate via online bank transfer or via PayPal, please write a short message indicating this via the CONTACT page (see link on main page) and you will receive a prompt reply.
Between the 7 families, the group of orphans and the school community there are currently a total of 12 individual funds this site directly supports; funds the site and its related fundraising activities generate are divided up between these 12 funds (“pots”, if you like) and sent via various online payment methods to the families, to those responsible for the orphans and to the school community.
The situation of all individuals this site supports are very sensitive. Protecting their privacy and dignity is crucial. 2 of the 7 families do not have online campaigns (Chuffed, etc.). Funds raised are transferred directly to those two families. The group of Gazan orphans’ Chuffed campaign is in the works. Funds will be transferred to those supporting them in Gaza for the time being:
Ahmad & Family:
Ahmad’s Chuffed campaign:

Ahmad and his family are displaced in Gaza. Ahmad is the sole provider for his family members. The bare minimum they need per month to pay for the space they rent in a partially destroyed building that has rodent infestation, for food, water and medicine for Ahmad’s mother is $1000 per month. If 100 people donated €10 a month at the beginning of the month, their costs would be covered plus they might be able to put some money aside. Ahmad is also initiator of the fundraising for the group of orphans this site supports.

Dr. Mohammed & Family:

Dr. Mohammed is trying to rebuild his life to support his family following evacuation to Cairo – where they live in complete limbo – and their lives as they had known them being completely destroyed. Mohammed wants to pursue further training and, hopefully, employment so as to provide for the family – including their 5 young children – while working in his area of expertise: psychiatry. The family requires a minimum of $500 per month for food, utilities and other essentials alone and Mohammed needs funds to have any hope of pursuing further training.

Ola & Family:
In addition to funding their own existence with a minimum of $500 for absolute essentials – without income, without any other form of funding but through donations – and that of their 5 children in forced exile in Cairo, they have a duty to repay debts and also help their family members still displaced in Gaza on top of trying to rebuild their lives.

Additional note: Dr. Mohammed & Ola are married with 5 children and between them they have 3 ongoing funding campaigns for their specific needs, as outlined above. Ola and Mohammed cannot find work, the children are not permitted to attend Egyptian schools and their youngest child, born in Egypt, remains stateless.
Ali & Family:
Ali from Gaza City is responsible for his family as the eldest son: his parents and other extended family, his brothers, his own wife and their small baby. All of this means that $1,500 minimum a month is crucial to pay for their essentials, as well as to even begin to even think about saving to pursue study abroad.

Ghada & Family:
Note: Donations directly to funding campaign currently paused. Any donations this site generates will be shared with Ghada and her family. Ghada is currently in Ireland having been evacuated because of a university scholarship in summer 2025. Her family remain displaced in Gaza.

Jehad & Family:
Jehad, also evacuated from Gaza in summer 2025 because of an Irish study scholarship, has many family members in Gaza who are living on donations only and that while dwelling in porous tents. There are well over 20 family members he is responsible for. His family members require a bare minimum of $1,500 between them for essentials each month.

Stay Human Collective (School in Gaza’s North):
The School and Community Support initiative needs every possible donation to keep going; to pay teachers, to purchase supplies, to maintain the space as needed, etc. Funds this site generates directly will be added to the school’s Chuffed campaign.
